Howick Intermediate students, staff and families headed to Eastern Beach on Sunday 26 February

A Marine Metre investigative activity gave students an opportunity to discover and identify the sea creatures in a square metre of beach sand. Results will be forwarded to a national database for scientific research.   They also collected rubbish from the beach and enjoyed a picnic together.  What an awesome effort!
